Shinoh is a multidisciplinary space design studio based in Seoul, South Korea, specializing in interior architecture and functional object design. The studio creates spaces and objects that are timeless, multi-functional, adaptable, and distinct.

Jiwon Shin holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in New York. She has worked as a designer in both Seoul and New York at leading architecture practices including Carlos Zapata Studio, Studio Daniel Libeskind, and Lifethings. Her interest in cross-disciplinary design led her to join the global branding team at Gentle Monster, where she expanded her experience beyond architecture. In 2020, she founded the design studio Shinoh with a mission to bring elements of fun, peace, and fantasy into users’ everyday lives through new sensibilities and positive change.

시노는 실내 건축을 중심으로, 다양한 작업과 제품을 선보이는 디자인 스튜디오입니다. 특정 디자인 카테고리에 국한되지 않고, 제품, 브랜딩, 공간, 건축 등 여러 분야에 걸쳐 작업하고 있습니다. 타임리스, 다기능성, 개조 가능성, 그리고 차별성이라는 네 가지 디자인 요소를 중심으로, 건축적 태도와 해석을 통해 프로젝트를 풀어갑니다.

신지원은 뉴욕 프랫 인스티튜트에서 건축학 학사 과정을 마친 뒤, 서울과 뉴욕을 오가며 Carlos Zapata Studio, Studio Daniel Libeskind, 삶것 건축사사무소 등에서 설계 디자이너로 활동했습니다. 이후 분야를 넘나드는 디자인에 관심으로 젠틀몬스터 글로벌 브랜딩팀에 합류해 건축 외의 다양한 분야를 경험하였고, 2020년 ‘시노(Shinoh)’라는 이름으로 디자인 스튜디오를 설립했습니다. 시노는 ‘재미’, ‘평온’, ‘판타지’라는 감각적 요소를 디자인에 녹여내며, 사용자의 일상에 새로운 감각과 긍정적인 변화를 불러오는 것을 미션으로 삼고 있습니다.
