Thinkplant Office is a combined office and showroom for the clothing brand Thinkplant, located in Garosugil, Seoul.

The office was designed with minimal dividing walls, creating multiple spatial potentials and organic circulation. The open layout is full of spatial zones and programs, keeping the inhabitants engaged with the possibility of encountering both small and large areas. While there are spatial dividers, none fully enclose the areas, maintaining a balance between freedom and structure.

The existing space was initially cold and uninviting, with minimal finishes and disproportionate windows that gave it an intimidating appearance. After discussions with the client, we decided to prioritize warmth and tranquility in the design, leading to the extensive use of timber as a core material.

The resulting space feels natural and effortless, with warm materials that bring a sense of humanity, contrasting with the clean-cut rigidity often associated with the design zeitgeist in Korea.
