Kream Showroom, Jamsil
A new concept of retail space for Korea's top online based resale platform
About
The KREAM showroom was envisioned as a groundbreaking concept—a showroom and cultural space without direct transactions. The space needed to accommodate dynamic content, allow for adaptability, and function similarly to an exhibition hall. The design required flexibility to support continuously updated content and programs with varying purposes. Shinoh maximized the project’s potential by constructing perforated panel walls throughout the space. These panels allow any object—furniture, artwork, or products—to be freely mounted on the walls. Instead of fixed partitions to divide the elongated floor plan, Shino introduced 360-degree rotating perforated walls, enabling organic spatial divisions based on specific needs.
