The Gordon Ramsay Street Burger at Hyundai Trade Center reinterprets the brand’s minimal black façades from the UK to reflect Seoul’s unique culture. The interior represents London’s multicultural and dynamic energy, featuring wood, metal, vibrant colors, lighting, and bold artworks.
Seoul’s concept of "street" goes beyond casual street culture to express urban energy, structure, and excitement within its busyness. The façade was designed with brick tiles to harmonize with the department store’s basement setting, while storefront windows provide both openness and spatial separation. The main entrance incorporates the UK store’s iconic double doors, and the rear entrance features a pick-up counter and display inspired by street-side shops.
The interior adopts a "Black and Light" concept, with a 6m x 8m ceiling centerpiece made of LED silicone. This large-scale neon flex installation is the first of its kind in Korea. Aluminum foam walls and lighting placements add subtle reflections, enhancing the vibrancy of the space.
Custom seating, brown leather built-in furniture, and wooden tabletops bring warmth, while the rest of the finishes are in dark gray and black tones. The herringbone tiles on the floor evoke British sophistication, while the irregular Spanish tiles add a vintage, street-like texture.
As the first Seoul location, the Gordon Ramsay Street Burger maintains the brand’s minimalist façade and bold interior while introducing a new spatial identity tailored to the cultural context of Seoul.
